I can't afford to get it an ISBN right now, so we'll go with the ASIN, and Amazon distribution. Once I get paid, I'll spend the $10 for the CreateSpace print book's ISBN. After that I'm going to investigate Smashwords and Ingram for non-Amazon distribution.
I'm terrified.
I've published some nonfiction and a short story in the past, but this feels like a huge step forward. Last Mass is a novel I began to write when I was...I think maybe twenty-four? I may have started doing some research earlier than that, but I began to work on it in earnest when I was twenty-four. Sending it out into the world finally feels urgent, it feels overdue, and it feels wonderfully liberating.
